Recreation Therapist

We have an opening for a Recreation Therapist to work in a healthcare setting in Vallejo, California

• 6 months experience in inpatient psych that includes kids, teens, and adults.

• Certification in either CTRS, or Drama Therapy (preferred), or certified/registered Music Therapy, of certified/registered Art Therapy, or certified/registered Movement/Dance Therapy, or Yoga Therapy (C-IAYT with a specialization in Trauma Sensitive Yoga, or TCTSY-F).

• Social worker, LMFT or even an addictions counselor can be a fit, as long as they are willing to have their FOC

• Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension

• Shift Details:

  • Day Shift

  • 5 x 8s

  • 8:30am to 5pm (30 minute lunch)

  • Typically, Monday - Friday with 1 full weekend shift per month. Will consider Tuesday - Saturday

  • Shift Type: 1st 8h

• Unit: CBH Supporting Therapy

  • Local Pay: $37.21/hr

  • Estimated Weekly Travel Pay: $1,696/week
