Position Overview
Caterpillar is seeking an experienced
Recruiter 2 to support full-cycle recruiting activities across assigned business units and locations. This role serves as the primary recruiting partner to hiring managers, driving talent acquisition strategies, managing candidate pipelines, and ensuring a positive hiring experience from requisition through offer.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting, stakeholder management, sourcing strategy development, and candidate relationship management. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring needs and workforce plans.
- Create and manage recruitment strategies to attract qualified talent.
- Source, screen, and present high-quality candidates for open positions.
- Manage candidate pipelines and reduce time-to-fill metrics.
- Coordinate recruiting activities with sourcing teams, recruiting coordinators, and agency partners.
- Maintain accurate candidate data and requisition activity within Taleo.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, processes, and employment regulations.
- Provide regular recruiting updates, metrics, and hiring status reports to leadership.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Collaborate with global recruiting teams and provide support across regions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-4 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources experience.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience developing sourcing strategies and managing candidate pipelines.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret recruiting metrics.
- Fluent English proficiency.
