Fit for the Role:

Ardalyst is seeking a motivated Recruiter and HR Manager in Crofton, MD to join our dynamic team. The Recruiter and HR Manager will own the full employee lifecycle — from recruiting and hiring through onboarding, benefits administration, HR compliance, and offboarding when necessary. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Post jobs, recruit, hire, onboard, offboard employees (manage tools/systems used for these processes)
  • Schedule interviews (coordinate with president and delivery leads)
  • Conduct screening interviews
  • Train employees on time and expense entry
  • Conduct company training
  • Prepare HR documentation
  • Track PTO and holiday plan
  • Ensure HR compliance

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and discretion when handling sensitive employee information
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to automate or standardize common tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field, or 1-3 years of experience in HR or business administration roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams preferred
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Aptitude for learning new software and systems quickly
  • Solid understanding of operational processes and systems
