Job Title: Recruiter

Job Description

This role offers an opportunity to launch or advance a career in recruiting within a dynamic, growth-focused staffing organization. You will work in a fast-paced, competitive environment where you connect talented candidates with meaningful job opportunities while partnering closely with account managers and clients. Responsibilities

  • Identify qualified candidates using a variety of recruiting and sourcing tools.

  • Screen and interview candidates to assess their skills, experience, and fit for open roles.

  • Partner closely with an Account Manager to identify top client accounts, target skill sets, and key market segments.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry contacts to gain market knowledge and generate referrals and sales leads.

  • Perform a range of customer service activities to support candidates and clients throughout the hiring process.

  • Support candidates in understanding job requirements and preparing for interviews and onboarding.

  • Collaborate with internal team members in a team-oriented environment to achieve shared goals.

  • Engage with the local community by volunteering and partnering with philanthropic organizations.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to candidates, job orders, and client interactions.

  • Demonstrate initiative and drive in learning new skills and supporting recruitment for skilled and entry-level roles, including production and general labor positions.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience.

  • Customer-focused or sales-focused experience with a strong commitment to service.

  • Experience collaborating in a team-oriented environment.

  • Ability to build rapport quickly with candidates, clients, and internal partners.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and client interactions.

  • Comfort working in a dynamic, competitive, and performance-driven environment.

  • Motivation to learn recruiting tools, sourcing strategies, and market segments.

  • Reliability and professionalism when working with candidates in production, general labor, and related roles.

  • Willingness to work in or around production environments and understand basic labor and production job requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).

  • Experience in roles involving customer interaction, sales, or account support.

  • Familiarity with or exposure to environments involving general labor, production, or yard work.

  • Interest in learning about positions such as forklift operation, paint preparation, and general production support.

  • Demonstrated initiative and drive to grow into more skilled or specialized recruiting areas.

  • Desire to progress into a sales career path within a staffing or recruiting organization.

Work Environment

You will work in a dynamic, competitive office environment closely connected to production and field operations. Much of the work involves coordinating with candidates who may be placed in production areas, including locations where bay doors open and close frequently to the outside. Candidates you support may spend a majority of their time working outdoors, so you will help set expectations around dressing according to the elements. The broader work setting emphasizes professionalism and safety, with guidance that workers in production environments wear steel-toe footwear, long pants, and preferably long-sleeve shirts.
