Position Summary

The Recruiter plays a key role in executing hiring strategies for assigned requisitions, including operations, production, warehouse, and driver positions. Supporting senior recruiting leadership, this role manages requisitions, sources frontline candidates, coordinates hiring events, and ensures DOT-compliant processes for driver recruitment.

The Recruiter is also responsible for providing hiring metrics, time-to-fill reporting, and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) management to support operational staffing needs.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple job requisitions simultaneously, and is focused on moving candidates efficiently from application to onboarding.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruiting for high-volume roles including production workers, warehouse associates, pick/pack staff, and driver positions (CDL and non-CDL).
  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, social platforms, community outreach, and hiring events.
  • Screen and qualify candidates, including preliminary DOT-related prequalification checks such as MVR flags and required credentials.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to process, move, and track candidates while maintaining 100% data integrity and compliance.
  • Partner with operations leaders and senior recruiters to understand staffing targets and scheduling needs.
  • Assist in organizing and executing hiring events, open houses, job fairs, and onsite recruiting days.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring managers, managing frequent email and phone communication.
  • Post, update, and manage job advertisements across multiple job boards and recruiting platforms.
  • Prepare weekly recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill and hiring funnel reporting for leadership review.
  • Track candidate drop-off and show-up rates for frontline and driver positions and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company hiring policies.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of high-volume recruiting experience, preferably within manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or transportation environments.
  • Experience recruiting driver positions and familiarity with DOT hiring considerations preferred.
  • Strong ability to multitask and adapt to changing hiring priorities.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and high-volume sourcing platforms.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
