    Description

    Recruiter

    The Recruiter will focus on talent sourcing, candidate identification, networking and relationship building with potential candidates, attending networking events, and will introduce and monitor recruitment best practices including development and management of Marillac St. Vincent recruitment processes, procedures, and systems.

    The Recruiter is expected to source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline, screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings. They will take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing it. Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements. Perform reference checks as need, facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiate employment terms, manage onboarding and new hire process, stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices, manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process, and ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.

    The Recruiter should have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and a minimum of 1-2 years of recruiting experience. They should be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust, have excellent organizational and time management skills, make decisions independently, work knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems, manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders, proficient in Microsoft Office, working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods, deep understanding of employment laws and regulations, and familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues. Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds. At times, may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position. Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
