Recruiter - Home Care

BrightStar Care of Chicago and La Grange is seeking a Full-Time Recruiter to join our growing team and play a key role in building and maintaining a strong, reliable healthcare workforce. This position will be responsible for high-volume sourcing & recruitment of Caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, and RNs to support our in-home care and staffing operations.

Job Title: Recruiter

Pay: $50,000 Salaried Position

Hours: 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri

Location: Chicago, IL 

We are a fast-growing home care agency with ongoing weekly staffing needs and regular new-hire orientations. The Recruiter will manage the recruitment process from initial sourcing and applicant screening through interviews, onboarding communication, and orientation. While our current recruiting efforts utilize Indeed and other online job boards, we are looking for a Recruiter who can expand our talent pipeline through creative sourcing strategies, community networking, local partnerships, referrals, and other recruitment channels to improve both the quantity and quality of candidates.

The Recruiter will also assist with new-hire onboarding and compliance processes, including coordinating onboarding communications and documentation, assisting with weekly orientations, and ensuring new employees are appropriately prepared and approved for scheduling. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining employee credentials, assisting with employee file audits, supporting recruitment-related projects, and other administrative or operational initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

• A Bachelors or Associates degree in Human Resources or Healthcare Administration is required or equivalent experience with a high school diploma
• 1-3 years of experience with recruiting, healthcare recruiting preferred.
• 1-3 years working in a healthcare setting preferred.
• General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Skills in database management and record keeping.
• Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
• Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Gather and analyze information skillfully.
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification a plus.
• Ability to reliably commute to and work in-office in downtown Chicago
• Negative TB Test and Cleared Physical
