Recruiter / Human Resources Coordinator - Wayne & Oakland Counties

Location: Auburn Hills, MI (Some travel required throughout Wayne & Oakland Counties, northern Ohio)
Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift
Wage: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour (based on recruiting/HR experience)

We are seeking a Recruiter/Human Resources Coordinator who brings enthusiasm, organization, and influence to the table. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build candidate pipelines and source talent using multiple platforms.
  • Screen, interview, evaluate, and select candidates to fill open positions.
  • Perform background checks and ensure compliance with onboarding procedures.
  • Lead new hire orientations and ensure timely onboarding for all assigned sites.
  • Train site supervisors on orientation and hiring documentation procedures.
  • Assist in drafting and implementing employee corrective actions.
  • Support Operations and Site Supervisors with recruiting strategy and execution.
  • Maintain employee records, compile reports, and respond to HR requests.
  • Resolve employee relations issues in partnership with site leadership.
  • Travel to assigned sites as needed to support hiring and HR functions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of full life-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience using social networks, databases, and cold outreach methods.
  • Tenacious, upbeat personality with a desire to grow in HR.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ATS systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and travel to support field sites.
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
