Position Overview
· Client's is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist, Technical to support full-cycle recruiting efforts focused on engineering, research & development (R&D), and other highly technical positions.
· This individual will partner closely with hiring managers, HR, and business leaders to attract, assess, and hire top technical talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
· The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for engineering and technical positions within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, technology, or related industries and will thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
· This position is based at client's headquarters in West Los Angeles and follows a hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, offer support, and closing candidates.
· Manage 10+ active requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of candidate quality.
· Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
· Create and refine job descriptions and candidate profiles.
· Build and maintain strong pipelines of engineering and technical talent through proactive sourcing and networking.
· Utilize sourcing tools and recruiting platforms to identify passive and active candidates.
· Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for candidates throughout the hiring process.
· Maintain accurate and timely candidate records within ATS platforms.
· Collaborate with HR during job creation, offer preparation, and background investigation processes.
· Provide recruiting activity updates, hiring reports, and pipeline metrics.
· Represent the company at university recruiting events, career fairs, information sessions, and other talent attraction activities.
· Conduct market research, compensation analysis, and talent intelligence reporting.
· Support recruiting process improvements, interview training initiatives, and special projects.
· Assist with additional administrative and recruiting-related responsibilities as needed.
· Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience within a technical industry,
OR
· High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience within a technical industry.
Recruiting Experience
· Minimum 3 year of full-cycle recruiting and direct sourcing experience in either:
· An agency recruiting environment, or
· A high-volume corporate recruiting environment.
· Experience recruiting for:
· Engineering positions
· Research & Development (R&D) positions
· Technical roles within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or technology organizations
· Technical Recruiting Skills
Experience sourcing passive candidates using:
· LinkedIn Recruiter
· SeekOut
· Indeed
· Handshake
· Dice
· Similar sourcing platforms
· Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), including:
· Greenhouse
· Workday
· Similar ATS platforms
· Core Competencies
· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational and time management abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
