POSITION SUMMARY

Chipton-Ross is seeking a motivated and competitive Recruiter to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, talking with people, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. You will recruit engineering, aerospace, manufacturing, information technology, and professional talent for leading Fortune 500 companies and government contractors across the United States. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to commute to our Playa del Rey, CA or Long Beach, CA office.

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

• Prior recruiting, staffing, inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, customer service, hospitality, call center, or other high-volume customer-facing experience is required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Goal-oriented with a competitive drive to succeed.

• High sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks quickly.

• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet research.

• Ability to learn technical terminology and recruiting concepts.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify, source, recruit, qualify, and present highly qualified candidates for client openings.

• Source candidates through our applicant tracking system, job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other creative sourcing methods.

• Conduct a high volume of outbound recruiting calls and candidate outreach.

• Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to determine qualifications and interest.

• Coordinate interviews, manage the hiring process, and extend employment offers.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system.

• Develop strong, long-term relationships with candidates and clients.

• Learn and understand technical job requirements across engineering, aerospace, manufacturing, information technology, and professional disciplines.

• Stay informed on employment laws, compliance requirements, and recruiting best practices.

• Meet recruiting activity goals and performance metrics, including candidate outreach, interviews, submissions, and placements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
