Focuses on filling exempt and non-exempt positions
Cold calls and pre-screens potential passive candidates to determine correct fit for open positions
Confers with management and discusses long-range personnel needs to prepare and implement recruitment program
Conducts pre-interview screenings, reference checks, and employment verifications on prospective candidates to ensure organization qualifications are met, as determined between recruiter, and hiring managers
Conducts initial prescreens with candidates to obtain specific work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications and/or needs of applicants
Informs applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, company and union policies, promotional opportunities, and other related information
Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of employment consideration
Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action and OFCCP regulations
Completes and submits all required reporting by the set due dates, including weekly metrics for the Recruiter Scorecard
Facilitates the partnerships between hiring managers to effectively engage with passive candidates based upon existing relationships.
Utilizes the ATS to process, manage and communicate with candidates outside of the ATS ("passive candidates")
Collaborates with regional recruiting staff as well as the corporate recruiting team to ensure all recruiting goals are met
Learns ECS standards of recruiting practices and OFCCP rules and regulations from the Recruiting Support team
Military Specific Responsibilities
Primary responsibility is to establish, maintain, and grow the ECS Military Recruiting Program
Builds and maintains military specific candidate databases for all markets
Attends monthly Military Recruiting sub-committee calls and any additional calls related to Military Recruiting, as assigned
Assists with the implementation of the Military Careers webpage in conjunction with the Marketing team and Director of Talent Acquisition
Provides consultation on MOS code translation for ECS jobs
Provides consultation on qualification translation for ECS jobs, including writing adjacent qualifications from military experience for all ECS job titles
Contributes to the implementation of the ECS SkillBridge program and partnering with SkillBridge liaison organizations
Researches and identifies state-based programs for ECS to partner with; aides in partnering with said organizations
Identifies Veteran Hiring Medallion criteria and assists with elevating ECS Military Recruiting Program to meet requirements to qualify ECS for the Veteran Hiring Medallion designation
Ensures attendance at military-focused career fairs
Agrees to act as the face of ECS Military Recruiting
Identifies other veterans and military-affiliated ECS employees for the Veteran Ambassador Program
Leads Veteran Ambassador program, including helping to develop the ambassador role, identifying potential ambassadors, holding ambassadors accountable, and tracking success of ambassadors
Continues to maintain existing relationship with HBI and spearheads relationships with future HBI locations
Provides guidance to hiring managers on compensation packages for veterans entering the ECS workforce based on pay received in the military
With the assistance of the Recruiting Support team, tracks metrics associates with the Military Recruiting Program and reports those to the Director of Talent Acquisition

Required Qualifications
BA/BS in Human Resources or similar preferred
2 - 5+ years of experience
Military experience strongly preferred
The expected pay range for this role and location is $75,000 - $90,000/year. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
