| Job Description | Recruiter will support Abacus Service Corporation's proposed NCTD RFP 37115 Temporary Staffing Services account by sourcing, screening, and recommending qualified, experienced, and available temporary staffing candidates for NCTD's requested service categories. The Recruiter must directly support requests for Administrative/General, Finance, and Information Technology positions as applicable, coordinate with the Project Manager and NCTD/HR request process, and help fill requests within the timeframe provided by NCTD, including urgent same-day or next-day needs when required. Responsibilities include reviewing each Request for Temporary Help, understanding the required skill set, experience, job description, reporting location, pre-employment check requirements, desired start date, and assignment length; sourcing and recommending candidates who can perform the assignment to NCTD's satisfaction; providing candidate name, current resume, and skills assessment results if requested; coordinating interviews by phone, virtual meeting, or in person at times and locations convenient to NCTD; supporting completion of required pre-employment checks before start; coordinating replacement candidate recommendations within 24 to 48 hours when NCTD determines a temporary employee is not suited for the assignment; maintaining regular communication and follow-up during recruitment, selection, placement, and replacement activity; and supporting quality assurance and customer service practices for the duration of the contract. | ||||||||
| Skill set info | Minimum 3 years of experience working for an employment staffing firm or working in-house as a recruiter, directly handling projects of similar scope and size. Must provide examples of at least 3 prior successful similar assignments. Experience sourcing and screening temporary staffing candidates for public sector, transit, administrative/general, finance/accounting, HR/customer service, and/or IT roles is strongly aligned to this RFP. Must be able to evaluate candidate qualifications against job descriptions, required skills, work location, shift requirements, pre-employment checks, and availability. Must understand candidate submittal packages, resume review, skills assessment coordination, interview scheduling, candidate communication, replacement support, and documented follow-up. Must be able to coordinate candidates for onsite NCTD locations and support vendor-managed recruiting activity through a centralized HR request process. Must understand required pre-employment clearance coordination, including legal right to work verification, criminal background check, DMV record check, and drug screening before assignment start. | ||||||||
| Education | Preferred -Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Public Administration, Management, or a related field. Equivalent directly relevant staffing, recruiting, account support, or workforce solutions experience may be considered. | ||||||||
