Position Summary

MFort Security Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our growing HR team. This role begins part-time with strong potential to transition into a full-time position. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and a passion for connecting great people with great opportunities.

You will play an essential role in our recruitment process — managing job postings, interviewing candidates, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring our records and calendars stay up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct recruitment tasks including phone and in-person interviews

· Maintain and update the interview calendar and candidate pipeline

· Manage and post job listings across multiple platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.)

· Coordinate and conduct onboarding for new hires

· Assist with uniform fittings and employee file setup during onboarding

· Organize and assemble employee personnel files

· Keep all job postings and recruitment records current

· Provide weekly recruitment updates for team meetings

· Coordinate and conduct onboarding for new hires

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have a valid Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Strong computer and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and organization abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Schedule & Compensation:

• Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: 5320 W Lawrence Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60630

• Pay Range: $47,000-55,000 annually
