Title: Talent Acquisition Manager

Supervisor: HR Manager

Salary: $26-$28/hr.

Status: Non-exempt, 40 hours per week

Function:
The Recruiter is responsible for supporting the agency's efforts to attract and hire high-quality employees while helping maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs. The Recruiter will partner with Agency leaders to fill open positions and assistin identifying ongoing workforce needs. The Recruiter will source candidates through a variety of methods, including active recruitment channels (job boards, recruitment firms, career fairs) and passive strategies (social media, resume databases, outreach efforts).

Qualifications:
  • Two years of human services recruiting experience required.
  • A minimum of an associate's degree is strongly preferred.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Support recruitment process for agency including full-time and short-term hiring needs for all staff with emphasis on clinical positions (licensed clinicians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners). Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications. Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • In conjunction with Vice President of Behavioral Health & Medical Directors continue to cultivate and retain relationships with employment and locum tenens agencies to identify and fill short-term medical provider and other staffing needs.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Actively build a database of candidates and establish a network for recruiting using the appropriate networking tools (such as LinkedIn, NYSPA database, other resume databases). Prepare and post jobs to appropriate job board
  • Assists with background checks and other onboarding processes
  • Establish Agency as "Great Place to Work" by highlighting unique aspects of work, rewriting Job Descriptions to be more attractive; rewriting narrative on Agency to be more attractive/include leadership (industry leader)/best practices
  • Regularly attend networking events/career fairs to establish relationships with prescribers, schools, and promote Agency brand awareness.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Actively check in with new employees to provide support and seek feedback
  • Utilize appropriate technology for recruitment.
    • Post positions to appropriate sites, networks.
    • Improve the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting.
    • Research new ways and tools for recruitment.
    • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.

General Responsibilities:
  • Member of HR Team and actively participates in team discussions and decision making; regularly attends HR team meetings.
  • Completes all work and reporting functions in a timely fashion.
  • Interacts with stakeholders, candidates, referral sources, co-workers and others in a positive manner; provides a positive example of professional behavior in the workplace.

Essential Requirements:
  • Experience with human services recruiting required
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check, etc.)
  • Ability to maintain the highly confident nature of human resources work
  • Ability to travel to recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule
  • Ability to travel to agency locations across three counties (Dutchess, Ulster, and Orange)
