    Job Description:

    ThisishourlypaidworkrecruitingtalentfortheDepartmentofJuvenileJustice. Dutiesincludeworkingwithfacilitiestodeterminestaffing needs,coordinatejobfairs, post positions andrecruitforhardtofillpositions.Thispositionis part-timeandrequireslessthan 30 hoursper week and is not eligible for benefits.

    JOBSPECIFICDUTIES:

    • Establishes recruiting requirements bystudyingorganizationplansandobjectivesandmeeting withmanagersandgrHumanResourcesstafftodiscussneeds,createrecruitmentplansand innovative ways to attract candidates.
    • Builds applicantsourcesbyresearching andcontacting communityservices, colleges, military installationsoutreach programsand othersourcesinorderto provideorganizationinformation, opportunities, and benefits
    • Buildrelationshipswithpartners
    • Reviewsapplicationstodetermineiftheapplicantmeetsthe qualificationsneededfortheposition applied
    • Coordinatingandattendingjobfairs
    • ProvidesconsultationtomanagersasitrelatestoHRpoliciesandprocedures
    • Postingjobannouncementsandscreeningapplicantsusingapplicanttracker,TeamGaCareers
    • Updatesjobknowledgebyparticipatingineducationalopportunities,readingprofessional publications,maintainingpersonal networks,andparticipatinginprofessionalorganizations
    • Researchareawhereareasarelocatedinordertodeterminethebeststrategyforrecruitingwithin community
    • Somedayandovernighttravelmaybe

    MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:

    Associatedegreefromanaccreditedcollege

    Oruniversity

    AndTwo years of related experience in human resources

    Note:Anequivalentcombinationofeducationandjobspecificexperiencethatprovidedthe knowledge,experienceandcompetenciestosuccessfullyperformthejobatthelevellisted may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Preferencewillbegiventocandidateswhoinaddition tomeeting theminimumrequirementspossessthreeofthefollowing:

    • Two(2)ormoreyears'experience inrecruitingMilitaryand/orLawEnforcementpositions.
    • One(1)ormoreyears'experienceinrecruitingforstate,local,orfederalgovernment.
    • Two(2)ormoreyearsworkinginaHumanResourcesfield
    • Three(3)ormoreyearsprofessionallevelrecruitingexperience.
    • One(1)ormoreyears'experienceinusingTaleooracomparableapplicanttrackingsystem
    • Excellent communicationandinterpersonalskills withexperiencesuccessfullybuilding relationshipstobeviewedasatrustedresourceforadviceandguidance.
    • Demonstratedexperiencewith developing recruiting plansandinnovative ways to attractqualified candidates.
