Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist — Smithfield, VA

Pay: $21–$23/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Assignment: 3–4 month temporary contract with potential for longer-term opportunity
Location: Smithfield, VA

We are hiring an Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full-cycle recruiting, candidate sourcing, and hiring coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Manage recruiting activities from sourcing through hire.
• Source and screen qualified candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to support staffing needs.
• Provide timely communication and a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate applicant records and recruiting metrics.
• Support recruiting process improvements and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ATS systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel to other locations approximately 25% of the time
