Job Title: Clinical Research Recruiter

Location: Remote or Hybrid (based on business needs)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Recruiter to support talent acquisition for a growing Contract Research Organization (CRO). This role will be dedicated to recruiting clinical research professionals across a variety of functions while working in close partnership with an external recruiting agency. The Recruiter will leverage the agency's recruiting resources, talent network, market expertise, and sourcing support to identify and hire top clinical research talent.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of clinical research roles, industry terminology, and the qualifications required for positions across Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Data Management, Biometrics, Medical Affairs, and related functional areas. This individual must be able to assess technical skill sets, build strong relationships with hiring managers, and manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for clinical research positions from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, required qualifications, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for technical and cultural fit.
  • Utilize internal recruiting resources as well as agency sourcing tools, candidate pipelines, and industry networks to identify qualified talent.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of clinical research professionals for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct detailed candidate interviews to assess technical experience, therapeutic area expertise, certifications, and career goals.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with comprehensive interview summaries.
  • Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
  • Partner with the recruiting agency to develop sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Monitor recruiting metrics, hiring timelines, and pipeline activity.
  • Stay informed on clinical research hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and talent market conditions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Participate in recruiting strategy meetings and workforce planning discussions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on clinical research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of the clinical research industry and the responsibilities of common clinical research positions.
  • Experience recruiting for a variety of technical and operational clinical research roles.
  • Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications based on study experience, therapeutic area expertise, certifications, and regulatory knowledge.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing platforms.
  • Strong interviewing, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting within a CRO environment.
  • Previous agency recruiting experience or experience partnering with staffing firms.
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and the clinical trial process.
  • Experience recruiting for Phase I IV clinical trials.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic areas such as oncology, CNS, respiratory, infectious disease, cardiovascular, metabolic, and rare disease.
  • Experience supporting high-volume and niche clinical research hiring.
