Description


The Recruiting Associate will support the full-cycle recruiting process by assisting with sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates across the Southeast. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is interested in building a foundation in talent acquisition. The recruiter will work closely with hiring managers and the recruiting team while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:
This role involves regular interaction with candidates, hiring managers, and members of the recruiting and HR teams through phone, email, virtual platforms, and in-person meetings. Daily work includes time spent on a computer using an applicant tracking system and Microsoft Office suite. The role requires the ability to sit for extended periods, communicate effectively, and manage administrative and coordination tasks with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities


  • Support recruiting efforts by assisting with sourcing and identifying qualified candidates for open positions
  • Review applications and resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Assist with posting job advertisements and managing open requisitions in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Help maintain accurate and compliant documentation of recruiting activities in accordance with employment laws and company policies
  • Build positive relationships with candidates to promote a strong candidate experience and employer brand
  • Support recruiting events such as career fairs, school visits, and community outreach as needed
  • Assist with maintaining a pipeline of potential candidates, including passive and former applicants
  • Help track recruiting metrics and prepare basic reports on recruiting activity and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team on projects, process improvements, and special initiatives
  • Provide administrative and recruiting support as needed throughout various phases of the hiring process
  • Assist with HR initiatives as needed

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • 0–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, customer service, sales, or a related field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to build rapport and provide excellent customer service to candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems is a plus, but not required
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Ability to travel up to 10–20% of the time as needed
  • Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend recruiting events
