General Purpose
Provides administrative and recruiting support to the staffing team. Interviews and evaluates candidates. Ensure candidates are ready for employment.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:
- Answer multi-line phones, fielding general business and applicant questions.
- Ensure all employment paperwork and screening is completed including setting up background checks, scheduling drug screens, and completing I9 forms.
- Complete employment verifications.
- Provide back up for timecards, payroll, and payment posting.
Recruiting Duties:
- Screen applicants for positions and provide resources.
- Schedule applicants for internal interviews.
- Complete reference checks on applicants.
- Send candidates appropriate skills testing.
- Update website job positions and reviews job postings for grammatical errors.
- Collect job order information from clients.
- Assist Staffing Managers as needed.
- Represent company at community and networking events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates.
- Must be able to work independent of direct supervision.
- Ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and rapidly changing business environment.
- Analysis and problem-solving skills to determine effects on existing systems and/or business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team.
- Must have proficiency with various software applications programs to include company ATS (applicant tracking system), Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Basic math skills.
Education or Formal Training:
- Bachelor s degree in business, human resources or communications or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 1 year in a human resource, staffing or recruiting position desirable.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, professional.
- Frequent short-term deadlines.
Physical Activities:
- Ability to sit for extended periods up to 3-4 hours.
- Ability to talk on phone and access information in database simultaneously.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for 2-4 hours.
Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8am to 5pm.
Pay: $23.00 + (bonus)
