Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP is a rapidly growing, national specialty litigation firm seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support our talent acquisition efforts across the Firm. This role is primarily focused on first-year associate hiring, while also providing support for lateral recruiting and other hiring initiatives. About the Role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support full-cycle recruiting for first-year associate hiring, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support
- Build and maintain relationships with target universities, student organizations, and early-career talent pipelines
- Coordinate candidate communications and ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process
- Schedule interviews and manage logistics across multiple stakeholders
- Provide support for lateral associate recruiting and other firm hiring initiatives
- Maintain accurate candidate data and reporting within the applicant tracking system
- Assist with recruiting operations and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with HR and recruiting team members to support firm-wide hiring goals
- Ensure recruiting activities are aligned with firm policies and applicable employment practices
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints with minimal supervision and exceptional attention to detail
- Maintain positive relationships with candidates, firm attorneys, leadership, and external partners
- Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information
- Additional duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1–2+ years of recruiting, HR, or talent-related experience

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong responsiveness
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with a demonstrated track record of trustworthiness

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems preferred
- Experience in a professional services environment or campus recruiting preferred
