Job Summary:
The Recruiting Coordinator supports the hiring process by coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, maintaining recruiting systems, and assisting the Talent Acquisition team with administrative and operational tasks. This role helps create a positive candidate experience while ensuring the recruitment process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, including interview confirmations, follow-ups, and status updates.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Post job openings on career sites, job boards, and internal platforms.
- Assist with reviewing resumes and screening candidates as needed.
- Support pre-employment processes.
- Coordinate onboarding handoffs with HR or hiring teams.
- Track recruiting metrics, reports, and hiring activity.
- Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience.
- Support recruiters and hiring managers with administrative tasks.
- Support other recruiting activities as needed (Job fairs, On - Campus recruiting, School Recruiting, etc).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ year of experience in recruiting, HR, administrative support, coordination, or customer service preferred.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (Workable) or HR software (preferred).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple schedules, priorities, and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Professional, friendly, and candidate-focused approach.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with interview scheduling, calendar management, and hiring workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable communicating with candidates, executives, and hiring teams.
