It's grocery shopping reimagined — and we're just getting started.The RoleFreshDirect is seeking a highly organized, customer‑focused, and detail‑oriented Recruiting Coordinator to support our Talent Acquisition team and deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition.As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will serve as a key ambassador of the FreshDirect employer brand, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for candidates from initial outreach through onboarding. You will support recruiters across both Corporate and Operations functions, partnering closely with hiring managers to coordinate interviews, onboarding activities, candidate communications and hiring events.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, possesses exceptional communication and organizational skills, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and enjoys building positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, business leaders, and external partners.What You'll DoSupport Talent Acquisition efforts across both Corporate and Operations business functions, partnering closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR stakeholders to ensure an efficient and seamless hiring process.Coordinate interviews, candidate assessments, hiring manager meetings, and recruiting activities across multiple departments and locations.Serve as the primary onsite host for candidates by welcoming visitors, preparing interview rooms, coordinating candidate swag bags, and facilitating office tours.Draft and distribute candidate communications, including interview confirmations, onboarding instructions, orientation schedules, and other recruitment‑related correspondence.Manage pre‑employment and onboarding activities, including background checks, employment verifications, I‑9 processing, new hire documentation, and HRIS data entry.Monitor onboarding progress and partner with candidates, hiring managers, and external vendors to ensure all hiring and onboarding requirements are completed accurately and on time.Maintain accurate candidate, requisition, and employee records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS, while preparing recruiting reports and maintaining hiring metrics.Coordinate hiring events, job fairs, and talent attraction initiatives, including event logistics, candidate registration, interview scheduling, and catering arrangements.Represent FreshDirect at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives to support talent attraction and employer branding efforts.Participate in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources projects, process improvement initiatives, and other duties as assigned.What You'll BringBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Coordination, or HR onboarding/operations, preferred.Experience supporting high volume recruiting, onboarding processes, or candidate coordination in a fast paced environment, strongly preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong expertise in Excel for reporting, tracking, and data management; PowerPoint experience, preferred.Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms, preferred.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service and candidate experience mindset.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and improve processes.High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and build effective relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, and external partners.Ability to operate with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment in handling sensitive employee and candidate information.Flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.Salary$27 – $30/Hour.Total Rewards & BenefitsCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsPTO, Safe & Sick Time, and Paid HolidaysMedical, Vision, Dental, and Voluntary Disability coverage401(k) with employer match and Life InsuranceState‑of‑the‑art Bronx campus with on‑site basketball court, cafeteria, and employee marketOnsite FREE parkingFREE employee shuttle bus service from nearby Subway stationTraining, leadership development, and tuition discount at local colleges20% employee discount on FreshDirect online orders and Brooklyn wine storeMinimum 50% employee discount at our onsite employee marketMobile phone discounts through partnerships with T‑Mobile and VerizonGym membership discounts through NYSCWhat You'll Love About Working HereA fast‑paced, innovative environment where ideas turn into actionOpportunities for growth — many of our leaders have risen through the ranksDirect impact on how thousands of customers experience food every dayEqual OpportunityWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
