Key Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including requisition creation, sourcing, interviewing, candidate selection, offer management, background screening, and onboarding coordination.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and establish candidate qualifications.
  • Create and maintain engaging job postings across multiple recruiting platforms.
  • Screen resumes, conduct candidate phone screens, coordinate interviews, and facilitate timely hiring decisions.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Extend offers and assist with pre-employment processes, including background checks.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems, recruiting technology, AI-assisted recruiting tools, and sourcing platforms to improve efficiency and candidate quality.

Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies to attract candidates.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through networking, social media, employee referrals, career fairs, community partnerships, and college recruiting initiatives.
  • Research new recruiting channels and sourcing techniques to improve candidate quality and hiring outcomes.
  • Represent Virginia Green at recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach opportunities to promote our employer brand.

Partnership & Process Improvement

  • Build strong working relationships with hiring managers and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create accurate job descriptions and hiring profiles.
  • Coaching hiring managers on interviewing techniques, candidate evaluations, and best hiring practices
  • Monitor recruiting metrics, analyze hiring trends, and recommend process improvements to increase recruiting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Participate in recruiting initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement efforts that support organizational growth.

  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms (Lever and/or UKG experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for recruiting events and branch visits.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two to four years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferred.
  • Experience recruiting in a high-volume environment for field operations, sales, customer service, or professional positions is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, and recruiting analytics.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to travel to branch locations, recruiting events, career fairs, and community outreach activities as needed.
