The Job: Recruiting Specialist Intern

We are currently seeking a Recruiting Specialist Intern to support our recruiting team here at Katapult Network during the summer of 2027. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to continue or pursue a career in recruiting at a stable and growing company. This recruiting internship will be a role where everyday is fast-paced, challenging, and a great way to learn about talent management and recruiting.

What You Will Be Doing

• Effectively and efficiently source and screen candidates
• Responsible for building networks of entry-level candidates through college recruiting activities
• Help in preparing candidates for interviewing by providing detailed information on the company, business strategy, department background, job descriptions and establishing expectations
• Maintain positive relationship with applicants through entire recruitment process to ensure high quality of candidate experience
• Perform detailed reference checks on selected candidates and review results with hiring managers and executive team
• Hold phone and in-person interviews with candidates to ensure their qualifications meet job requirements
• Manage and maintain the recruiting pipeline and Talent Block
• Partner with your direct Account Manager and internal team to identify correct candidate targets
• Review resumes for appropriate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
• Utilize an automated applicant tracking system in compliance with staffing requirement to support the recruitment process

• Communication: express ideas clearly in both written and verbal correspondence, listen effectively, and share information appropriately with persons inside and outside the organization
• Organizing and planning: develop specific goals and benchmarks to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work in a timely manner
• Persistent: seek personal growth and hit metric goals, even in the face of opposition. Take calculated risks to ensure completion of assigned tasks
• Reliable:  project a sense of trustworthiness and dependability

Requirements 

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree 

Pay: 

• $18/hr + commission

Structure

• Full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• In-office in Bloomington, MN Wednesdays and Thursdays, remote Monday, Tuesday, and Friday
