We are seeking an energetic Recruiting Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for job seekers while supporting the recruitment process from sourcing through placement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys recruiting, customer service, marketing, social media engagement, and relationship building.

What You'll Do

Recruit and Engage Candidates

  • Connect with job seekers through phone, email, text messaging, social media, and online applications.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, skills, and career goals.
  • Schedule interviews and guide candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates to ensure a positive experience.
  • Create a professional and welcoming first impression for every applicant.

Build Talent Pipelines

  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, networking, and community outreach.
  • Re-engage previous applicants for new employment opportunities.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Assist with hiring events, recruiting campaigns, and job fairs.

Deliver an Exceptional Candidate Experience

  • Serve as a trusted resource throughout the hiring process.
  • Answer candidate questions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within recruiting systems.
  • Ensure an efficient and positive hiring experience from application through placement.

Support Recruiting & Marketing Initiatives

  • Collaborate with recruiting, sales, and marketing teams to meet hiring goals.
  • Promote job openings through online recruiting platforms and social media.
  • Participate in networking events and community recruiting activities.
  • Assist with employer branding and recruiting outreach initiatives.

Contribute to Team Success

  • Partner with colleagues to achieve recruiting and placement objectives.
  • Provide support for front office operations as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Stay current on recruiting best practices and local employment trends.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting, staffing, customer service, sales, or related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other technology platforms
  • Ability to accurately document information while actively communicating with candidates
