Recruiting Specialist

Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a leading organization in the government contracting and professional services space seeking an experienced Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers and business leaders, driving full lifecycle recruiting efforts across a variety of federal-facing business units and skill sets.

The ideal candidate will possess strong sourcing expertise, experience supporting federal government-related hiring initiatives, and the ability to develop effective talent acquisition strategies in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a consultative approach, market knowledge, and the ability to build trusted relationships while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead full lifecycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offer management, and onboarding support.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce planning needs, hiring priorities, and talent requirements.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract both active and passive candidates.
• Utilize Boolean search techniques, social recruiting strategies, professional networks, job boards, and applicant tracking systems to identify top talent.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Provide market insights, recruiting data, and talent availability trends to support hiring decisions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, offering guidance on candidate selection and hiring strategies.
• Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
• Leverage recruiting technologies and AI-enabled tools to improve sourcing effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within Workday and other recruiting systems.
• Ensure all recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with recruiters, coordinators, and business partners to support broader talent acquisition initiatives.

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6+ years of experience supporting recruiting and talent acquisition activities.
• 2+ years of experience supporting full lifecycle recruiting efforts within the federal government contracting space.
• Experience using Workday Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Strong experience with Boolean search techniques, talent pipelining, and social recruiting strategies.
• Proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates across multiple talent pools.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience using recruiting technologies and sourcing tools to improve efficiency and candidate engagement.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

This job is Fully Remote.

Pay Range: Hourly $38.71 to $45.16
