Job Description
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Welcome Center & Campus Visits, the Recruitment and Enrollment Events Coordinator will work closely with various departments within the educational institution to create a positive and memorable visit that showcases the campus, academic programs, and student life. As a Program Manager for Admissions/Enrollment, you will be responsible for supporting, implementing, and managing a comprehensive program(s) that provides prospective students, families, and other stakeholders with an engaging and informative experience during campus visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Visitor Engagement: Create engaging and interactive activities for prospective students and their families, ensuring that their needs and interests are met. Provide personalized attention and guidance to visitors throughout their campus visit.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of campus tour guides, student ambassadors, and support staff. Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities to ensure high-quality visitor experiences.
Event Coordination: Plan, coordinate and support large-scale events, such as open houses, recruitment events including academic college recruitment department events on campus (approximately 19 yearly) to showcase the institution to a broader audience. Some of these events include the OSP (Opportunity Scholars Program) luncheon, scholarship awards dinner, and admitted student days. Oversee event logistics, including scheduling, venue arrangements, catering, and marketing materials.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for the campus visit program, ensuring resources are allocated effectively. Identify opportunities for cost savings and explore potential revenue-generating initiatives.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about trends and best practices in campus visit experiences and higher education.
Continuously enhance the program by incorporating innovative ideas, technologies, and strategies.
Shift
40 hours/week. Monday thru Friday, evenings and weekends will be needed occasionally to support recruitment and enrollment events.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
