POSITION: Recruitment and Outreach Specialist
LOCATION: Williston, ND
WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED: Must be eligible to work in the United States. There is no sponsorship for this position.
TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full time, 12-month, exempt, benefitted position.
BACKGROUND CHECK: WSC does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.
JOB SUMMARY: The Recruitment and Outreach Specialist is responsible for managing off-campus recruiting activities that take place throughout the year. This position involves travel and outreach at regional recruitment events to promote awareness of Williston State College programs with local schools and community partners. Additionally, when not attending recruitment events, this position will assist in Enrollment Services with activities such as tours, Preview Days, and other campus events for prospective students and family members. In addition, the Student Recruiter assists with admission and enrollment management functions, receives and processes applications for admission, and prepares student files.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree or equivalent amount education and/or experience. Valid driver's license is required. Also, the ability to present to multiple audience groups, build solid relationships with key constituents. Position requires extensive travel during the academic year and ability to work some evenings, weekends, and early mornings.
PREFERRED: Bachelors degree
SALARY: $45,000-$50,000 based on experience plus excellent benefit package.
