Recruitment Specialist
Salary Grade: Associate
Location: Main Street Corporate Office
Duties: Responsible for supporting the full-cycle recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt positions across the Bank. Partners with hiring managers to post positions, source qualified candidates, screen applications, coordinate interviews, and assist with extending employment offers. Schedules and conducts new hire onboarding sessions, ensuring employees receive a welcoming and informative introduction to Wayne Bank's culture, policies, benefits, and employment requirements. Coordinates pre-employment activities and onboarding logistics to facilitate a smooth transition for new employees. Maintains job postings across recruitment platforms and the Bank's career site while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Assists with developing candidate pipelines by utilizing job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking opportunities. Coordinates Wayne Bank's participation in virtual and in-person career fairs, collegiate recruiting events, and community outreach activities. Maintains relationships with colleges, universities, workforce development organizations, and external recruiting partners to support ongoing hiring efforts. Maintains applicant tracking system records, prepares recruitment reports, ensures compliance with employment laws and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements, and supports continuous improvement of the Bank's recruitment processes.
Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to build positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners. Knowledge of recruiting practices and employment laws preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning applicant tracking systems, virtual interviewing platforms, and recruitment software. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, or a related field required. Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment, coordinating interviews, and facilitating new hire onboarding preferred. Customer service or banking experience is a plus but not required.
Education: Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
