The Recruiter must be able to own the entire talent acquisition process from end to end. This can include sourcing for candidates, advertising the job opening, reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and working with hiring managers to find the right fit. What does the Recruiter do? A successful recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. Job Description & Responsibilities Design and implement the overall recruiting strategy Post jobs and ensure job postings are accurate and clear Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders. Identify future hiring needs Design and update job descriptions Source candidates through databases and social media Conduct interviews, file paperwork Keep abreast of employment law and legislation Create and maintain a database of applicants Oversee the hiring process and making necessary modification. Enlist job postings on forums which can source new candidates at the time of hiring such as newspapers, social media, advertisements, etc. Collaborate with HR and the management of the recruitment process. |
