Schedule: 1st Shift | Tuesday - Saturday | 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM

Job Duties

• Sweeps and scrubs floor.
• Grinds up purge in the granulator
• Maintains recycling area
• transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Bails cardboard, and plastic
• Transports bails to the staging area
• Weighs and labels ground material
• Sorts good and bad pallets
• Maintains all records
• Will pack or palletize when work load is light
• Will segregate good and bad cardboard boxes

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Zero to six months experience with forklift, floor buffer and floor sweeper.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures.

As a Recycling Porter you will perform responsibilities that support the daily operations of your assigned employer while following established procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements. Duties may include operating equipment, working with customers, handling materials, preparing documentation, supporting administrative activities, using technology, collaborating with team members, or completing other responsibilities appropriate to the position.
