Western State College of Law at Westcliff is seeking a Reference Librarian. The Reference librarian reports to the Director of the Law Library.Reference LibrarianKey ResponsibilitiesProviding reference assistance to law students, faculty, and other WSCL patronsParticipating in student instruction and outreach, including:First‑year Legal Writing and Research programSpecialized in‑class research sessionsLibrarian‑led research coursesManaging all aspects of the interlibrary loan systemSupervising the Reserve Desk and student library assistantsCreating and maintaining print and electronic reference toolsContributing to collection development for both online and print resourcesProviding occasional evening and weekend presentations (e.g., night class)Performing other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsJD from an ABA‑accredited (or foreign equivalent) institution, AND MLS or similar from an ALA‑accredited institution.In‑depth knowledge of legal sources and research in both electronic and print formatsStrong customer service orientationExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting learning management systems (e.g., Canvas)Experience working in an academic law librarySupervisory experienceTeaching experienceDemonstrated interest in or experience with law practice technology#J-18808-Ljbffr
