Referral Coordinator
Position Summary
The Flint Registry, under the direction of Dr. Nicole Jones, seeks to hire a Research Technologist II (working title: Referral Coordinator) with the Flint Registry. A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-designated public health authority, the Flint Registry's (https://www.flintregistry.org/) goal is to connect people who were impacted by the Flint Water Crisis to resources and programs that serve to minimize the effects of lead on their health while promoting wellness and recovery. This position will be based in Flint, Michigan.
The Research Technologist II will support the referral process to the Flint Registry.
Duties will include:
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge normally acquired by completing a four- year college degree program in public health, health policy and management, social or behavioral sciences, or environmental health ; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience performing basic research techniques specific to the area of research employment such as: Tissue Culture, Analytical Research, Molecular Biology, Agriculture, Social Science, Physiology, Medical Research, etc., including the use and calibration of related equipment; word processing, spreadsheet; database and/or desktop publishing software; presentation software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
