Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented Refinishing Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for preparing, refinishing, polishing, and reassembling metal components while ensuring finished products meet high standards for quality and appearance.
The ideal candidate has experience with metal refinishing, polishing, or assembly, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in producing precision-finished products.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous refinishing, polishing, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and polishing equipment
Ability to read and follow written instructions and basic diagrams
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers is a plus
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Disassemble hardware and metal components for refinishing
Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces prior to refinishing
Polish and buff metal components to restore finish and appearance
Assist with metal plating and finishing processes
Reassemble finished components and verify proper fit and function
Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
Assist with additional production duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in metal refinishing, polishing, or industrial finishing
Manufacturing or assembly experience
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements throughout the shift
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and polishing equipment while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around metal components and finishing equipment
Work Environment
Manufacturing and metal finishing facility

Exposure to polishing equipment, hand tools, finishing materials, and industrial machinery
