Refrigeration Mechanic

A leader in thermal processing and environmental testing solutions is hiring a Refrigeration Mechanic to join its team in New Columbia, Pennsylvania. The company designs and manufactures industrial and laboratory ovens, furnaces, and environmental temperature cycling and stability test chambers used across a broad range of technical and industrial applications.

This position will support the organization"s custom refrigeration operations and contribute to the production of specialized thermal processing and environmental testing equipment. The role is suited for a mechanically inclined individual interested in developing their skills within a manufacturing environment focused on custom equipment and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the assembly and production of custom refrigeration equipment and related systems.
- Assist with the construction and preparation of refrigeration systems used in specialized industrial and laboratory equipment.
- Work with manufacturing team members to support the completion of custom equipment according to established specifications and quality standards.
- Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and established manufacturing processes.
- Maintain an organized and safe work area while completing assigned tasks.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the production and manufacturing teams.
- Support additional manufacturing and mechanical duties as assigned.



Job Requirements

Qualifications:

- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in refrigeration and custom equipment manufacturing.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established work procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Strong willingness to learn new mechanical and refrigeration-related skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other members of a manufacturing team.
- Ability to follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Previous mechanical, refrigeration, HVAC, manufacturing, or related hands-on experience is beneficial.
