We are seeking a skilled and experienced refrigeration technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our applications team to ensure that our OverShield system provides real-time monitoring and data analytics for refrigeration systems. Your primary focus will be on monitoring and maintaining the performance of refrigeration systems, while the applications team will concentrate on the diagnostic aspect of the OverShield reports.

Responsibilities:

• \n
• Conduct regular inspections of refrigeration systems to assess performance and identify potential issues.
• \n
• Inspect and evaluate refrigeration equipment, including sensors, thermostats, current and control systems, to ensure optimal operation.
• \n
• Monitor system parameters such as temperature, pressure, and airflow to detect abnormalities and deviations from expected performance.
• \n
• Respond promptly to alarms and alerts generated by the OverShield system, investigating the root cause of issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• \n
• Coordinate with the applications team to analyze OverShield reports and develop strategies for optimizing system performance and energy efficiency.
• \n
• Document inspection findings, maintenance activities, and repairs performed, maintaining accurate records of system performance and maintenance history.
• \n
• Provide technical support and guidance to other members of the maintenance team, sharing expertise and best practices for refrigeration system operation and maintenance.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

\n

• \n
• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and servicing refrigeration equipment.
• \n
• Proficient in troubleshooting refrigeration systems by locating and identifying faulty components.
• \n
• EPA 608 Universal Certification.
• \n
• Honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• \n
• Good attention to detail.
• \n
• Capability to work independently and as a team player.
• \n
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for work.
