Experience/Abilities Required:
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC/R repair
- Knowledge of the principles of refrigeration and related controls, allowing for effective diagnosis, repair and installation of appliance reach-ins and ice machines
- Strong understanding of how to measure and adjust super heat, refrigerant pressures and temperature controls is required
- Also understands the use and application of alternate refrigerants for retrofit repairs on refrigeration equipment
- Ability to maintain positive customer relations, both internal and external
Other Requirements:
- Attend periodic training classes
- Be available for on-call duty
- Attend monthly safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to handle physical workload
- EPA certified
- Clean driving record
- Clear background check and drug screen
