Serves as a technical and administrative resource to the Adult Rehabilitation Centers providing direct service for all accounting functions; Leads, monitors, evaluates and provides direct service to assigned Adult Rehabilitation Centers operations of the accounts receivable, accounts payable accounts, bank reconciliation's, cash accounts, checkbook accounts, balance sheets, Income and Expense Accounts, Fund Balancing and Fund Testing and general data entry functions; ensures all assigned accounts are maintained in compliance with Command standards and established deadlines; prepares financial and special reports; ensures the accuracy and completeness of the same. Ensures the Center Administrators and accounting staff receive timely and accurate support for their accounting operations, fiscal management and financial decisions.

Serves as a lead worker to assigned on-site Center accounting staff helping to ensure daily work supports overall accounting and fiscal management operations; trains new accounting staff and provides daily support for all Centers accounting operations.

Serves as a member of the Cash Register Support Team to help ensure accurate and uninterrupted Thrift Store sales; provides technical support with cash register issues hardware and software, including but not limited to programming, polling, Internet modems, internet services, cabling, phone lines and other hardware or software issues.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, computer science, or a related field

and

five (5) years experience preparing and automating progressively responsible accounting reports with extensive experience utilizing a variety of financial computer software packages, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
