Regional Business Development Manager - Mission Critical Data Centers

Help Build the Infrastructure Behind the World's Largest Data Centers

United Industries Group (UIG Tank Systems) is expanding its regional business development team to support the explosive growth of hyperscale data centers across North America.

We're looking for a proven business development professional who enjoys opening doors, building executive relationships, and winning complex infrastructure projects. This is a true hunter role focused on developing new opportunities with data center developers, engineering firms, EPC contractors, general contractors, mechanical contractors, and mission critical project teams.

What You'll Do

• Develop new business opportunities throughout your assigned region.
• Build relationships with developers, engineering firms, EPC contractors, general contractors, mechanical contractors, and owner representatives.
• Identify projects early in the planning and design process.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, lunch-and-learns, and networking events.
• Support specification development and basis-of-design discussions.
• Develop strategic account plans for key regional clients.
• Partner with UIG's executive leadership, engineering, estimating, and project management teams.
• Manage sales activity and opportunities using CRM tools.
• Achieve regional business development and sales growth objectives.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of outside sales, business development, enterprise sales, or strategic account management experience.
• Proven success developing new business and growing strategic accounts.
• Experience selling technical products, engineered systems, construction services, industrial equipment, or infrastructure solutions.
• Experience working with engineering firms, contractors, developers, utilities, industrial clients, or owner organizations.
• Strong communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and willingness to travel throughout the assigned region.

This is not an engineering, estimating, project management, operations, or IT position. We're specifically seeking experienced business development professionals with a demonstrated history of generating new business, developing executive relationships, and consistently achieving sales goals.

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• Industrial or Commercial Construction
• EPC or Design-Build
• MEP Contracting
• Mechanical Systems
• HVAC or Cooling Infrastructure
• Fire Protection Systems
• Water Infrastructure
• Industrial Equipment or Engineered Products

Compensation & Benefits

Target total compensation:$100,000-$140,000+ annually, including base salary, commissions, incentives, and bonuses.
