THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS OFF. No touch freight — the stores

unload the trailers, not you. Round trip regional grocery work

with daily dispatch, a shop on site, and an extra three cents a

mile on every weekend mile. 10 seats open.

THE POSITION

- Freight: dedicated grocery, temperature controlled

- Equipment: reefer trailers

- Regional round trip grocery delivery

- Daily dispatch — you know what you're running

- Live load, live unload, preload, drop and hook

- NO TOUCH freight — the stores unload the trailers

- Approx. 2,100 miles per week

- Shop on site

- Solo and team drivers welcome

PAY

- $0.49 to $0.61 per mile depending on your experience level

- WEEKEND DIFFERENTIAL: additional $0.03 per mile on all miles

run from Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 4:00 AM

- $10.00 for your first stop, $15.00 for every stop after

- Average $1,400 per week

- Driver performance bonus available

- Weekly pay

STRAIGHT TALK ABOUT THIS ACCOUNT

Four things you should know going in. This is a night shift

operation and weekend work is required, so it is not a Monday

through Friday daylight seat. Dispatch runs 24/7, which means

your start times can move around rather than being the same clock

every day — some drivers like the flexibility and some can't

stand it, so know which one you are. Parking on site is limited,

so if you're planning to leave a personal vehicle there long term,

ask about it before you take the job rather than after. And this

is reefer work, so if you've only run dry van, know that

temperature control adds a layer to the job. In exchange: you get

Thanksgiving and Christmas off, which is rare on a grocery

account and the reason a lot of drivers stay here. You never

touch the freight — the stores unload the trailers. There's a

shop on site so you're not chasing repairs. Dispatch keeps open

communication and the job duties are spelled out clearly. And

every weekend mile pays an extra three cents on top of your rate.

ORIENTATION

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

AGE & LICENSE

- 21 years or older

- Valid Class A CDL

- Must have held a U.S. driver's license the last 12 consecutive months

- Current DOT medical card (new DOT physical required at hire)

- No endorsements required for this position

EXPERIENCE — one of the following

- 6 months OTR experience within the last 12 months, OR

- 12 months OTR experience within the last 5 years

DRIVING RECORD

- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

- No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months

- Speeding 30+ MPH over = automatic disqualification for 3 years

- Original ticket copies required for all citations in the last 3 years

ACCIDENTS

- No more than 1 DOT preventable accident in the last 2 years

- No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

- No more than 3 preventable incidents in the last 2 years

- Preventable rear-end accident = 1 year disqualification

- Accident reports required for ALL accidents in the last 5 years

WORK HISTORY

- No more than 4 driving jobs in the last 12 months

- No more than 1 safety-related termination in the last 5 years

DUI / DWI

- No DUI/DWI in a commercial vehicle — ever

- No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years while holding a CDL or CLP

- No DUI/DWI in the 5 years before obtaining your CDL or CLP

- No multiple DUI/DWIs

DRUG & ALCOHOL TESTING

- No failed or refused drug tests — no exceptions

- Hair AND urine testing required, both must be passed

- No drug-related convictions in the last 5 years

CRIMINAL HISTORY

- Violence, theft, drug, and sex-related offenses reviewed individually

verification, criminal background review, MVR, Clearinghouse query,

drug testing, and final approval.
