We are seeking a responsible and safety-focused Regional Shuttle Driver (CDL) to transport passengers between designated service areas. This role combines skilled driving with outstanding customer service to ensure every trip is safe, comfortable, and on schedule.

As a Regional Shuttle Driver, you will serve as a key representative of our organization by consistently providing courteous, dependable, and safety-first transportation services.
Key Responsibilities of a Regional CDL Shuttle Driver:
Transportation Operations
- Safely operate passenger vehicles along assigned routes and schedules
- Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic regulations
- Maintain reliable timing while prioritizing passenger safety
- Stay alert to traffic, road, and weather conditions to ensure safe travel
Passenger Assistance & Customer Service
- Deliver friendly, professional, and respectful service to all passengers
- Assist riders with boarding and exiting vehicles when needed
- Properly operate wheelchair lifts and ramps
- Secure wheelchairs and mobility aids according to safety standards
- Provide information about routes, schedules, and services
- Offer timely updates and announcements as necessary
Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Check essential components such as brakes, lights, tires, mirrors, and safety equipment
- Report maintenance concerns or mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ready-to-operate vehicle
Documentation & Reporting
- Complete driver logs and required operational documentation
- Record incidents, accidents, or service interruptions accurately
- Track passenger counts and submit required reports
Qualifications of a Regional CDL Shuttle Driver:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement
- Clean driving record and strong safety commitment
- Prior experience in shuttle, bus, or passenger transportation preferred
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stay calm and professional in fast-paced or changing situations
- Basic understanding of vehicle inspections and transportation procedures
Physical Requirements
- Ability to assist passengers and operate accessibility equipment
- Capability to lift or move up to 45 pounds
- Comfortable sitting for extended periods while driving
- Ability to work in varying weather and road conditions
- Perform bending, reaching, climbing, and inspection duties
Schedule
Split Shift:
- Morning: 5:00 AM – 8:00 AM
- Evening: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PMAvailability for both shifts is required
