Regional Chief People Officer

Role Overview
As Regional Chief People Officer (CPO), you will be the senior executive responsible for leading all people-related initiatives across a region of ~2,000 employees. Reporting directly to the Regional CEO and serving as a member of the Regional Executive Team, you will partner with the CFO, COO, CTO, and business leaders to align talent strategies with growth goals, strengthen retention, and shape a high-performing, people-first culture.

The CPO also partners with Trilon’s Chief People Officer and HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management) to deliver consistent, innovative programs that drive employee experience, leadership development, and long-term organizational health.


Primary Responsibilities



People Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and execute the talent strategy for the region, with a focus on retention, engagement, and growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Regional CEO ensuring workforce and succession planning align with business objectives and growth strategies.
  • Partner with Trilon HR Leadership and firm leaders to implement talent initiatives while tailoring solutions to regional needs.
  • Use data and analytics to measure organizational health, guide decision-making, create strategies, and assess ROI of people programs.
  • Represent the region’s people agenda to Trilon Corporate while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
 Organizational Development & Culture
  • Build and sustain a values-driven culture of performance, accountability, and inclusion.
  • Lead change management, organizational design, and leadership alignment efforts.
  • Monitor engagement and key retention metrics to inform proactive strategies.
  • Facilitate leadership workshops and org design sessions to align structure and governance with business goals.
Talent Acquisition, Development & Retention
  • In partnership with Trilon VP of Talent Acquisition, oversee the full talent lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, recognition, and career development.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure hiring strategies support retention, growth and employee engagement.
  • Drive initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, employee engagement, and career pathways.
  • Champion retention programs that reduce turnover and build long-term employee loyalty.
Employee Experience & HR Operations
  • Continuously improve HR practices, systems, and processes to support productivity and satisfaction.
  • Lead cultural assimilation and employee experience during firm integrations.
  • Partner with Trilon Corporate on employee relations, policies, and compliance.
Compensation & Total Rewards
  • Partner with the Trilon Total Rewards team to ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant compensation and benefits programs.
  • Support alignment of compensation, benefits, and HR technology across newly acquired firms.

Requirements/Qualifications


  • 12+ years of progressive HR leadership, including 5+ years in a senior executive role.
  • Proven success leading HR strategy in a growth-oriented, multi-entity, or matrixed environment.
  • Expertise in talent strategy, retention, organizational development, and change management.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; experience with HRIS, ATS, and BI tools (e.g., PowerBI).
  • Prior divisional or business unit HR Leader/ CPO/CHRO experience within a mid-to-large enterprise preferred.
