Location: Cicero, IL

$28.00 per hour | Pay will average around $1750 per week.

Schedule: Sunday late evening to early Monday morning departure, returning Friday.

Drivers are typically home approximately two days at the end of each two-week cycle.

Driving Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Flatbed driving experience preferred
• Experience with Conestoga trailers preferred
• Ability to safely secure and transport freight
• Must be willing to assist with unloading freight at delivery locations
• Ability to work regional routes and overnight travel schedules
• Must meet Staffmark hiring standards and DOT regulations

Job Duties

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional delivery routes
• Haul garage door components using Conestoga flatbed and van trailers
• Inspect equipment and complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Secure freight using proper load securement methods
• Assist customers and warehouse personnel with unloading freight as needed
• Ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining all DOT safety requirements
• Complete shipping documentation and delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch, customers, and team members
• Keep equipment clean and report maintenance concerns promptly

What You Will Do

As a Regional Class A Flatbed Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.
