About the Role

Better Living is seeking a Regional RN to support our assisted living and memory care communities across Illinois and Iowa. This is a hands-on clinical support role for an experienced RN who enjoys working directly in communities and assisting where help is needed most. The Regional RN primarily serves as an interim RN during vacancies and supports Health & Wellness Directors with assessments, service plans, and quality assurance audits.

This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys variety, travel, and working directly with residents and community teams.

Responsibilities

· Serve as Interim RN in communities experiencing RN or Health & Wellness Director vacancies

· Complete resident assessments and reassessments

· Assist with service plan development and updates

· Support clinical documentation and resident records

· Assist Health & Wellness Directors with resident care coordination

· Conduct quality assurance audits of resident charts and documentation

· Provide hands-on clinical support within communities as needed

Travel Expectations

This position supports Better Living communities across Illinois and Iowa. Travel will occur between regional communities. Overnight travel may occasionally be required when supporting communities during leadership vacancies. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

Required:

· Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin

· Experience in assisted living, memory care, 

· Experience completing resident assessments and service plans

· Strong documentation and organizational skills

· Ability to travel regularly between communities

Preferred:

· Previous experience as Director of Nursing, Health & Wellness Director, or Assisted Living RN

Compensation

· Starting at $100,000

· Car Stipend
