Oral Surgery Partners is seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Surgical Assistant who is ready to grow beyond the traditional clinical role. As a Regional Clinical Trainer, you’ll use your hands-on experience to train and mentor Surgical Assistants, support clinical onboarding, strengthen competencies, and promote consistent, high-quality patient care across our practices.

What You’ll Do

• Provide hands-on training, coaching, and mentorship to new and existing Surgical Assistants.
• Lead clinical onboarding and help new team members build confidence and competency.
• Train on oral surgery workflows, surgical assisting, patient care, infection control, sterilization, and clinical safety.
• Provide training on IV sedation/general anesthesia workflows, patient monitoring, and emergency preparedness.
• Assess clinical competencies and provide supportive, actionable feedback.
• Partner with practice and regional leadership to identify training needs and improve clinical consistency.
• Support new surgeon onboarding, provider ramp-ups, and practice growth.
• Serve as a clinical resource and provide temporary hands-on support when needed.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on oral and maxillofacial surgical assisting experience required.
• 1+ year of experience assisting with IV sedation and/or general anesthesia required.
• Experience training, mentoring, precepting, or onboarding Surgical Assistants strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of oral surgery workflows, infection control, patient monitoring, and clinical safety.
• Strong communication, organization, and teaching skills.
• DAANCE certification preferred or willingness to complete training as assigned.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Travel & Regional Support

This is a regional, travel-based role supporting practices throughout Kansas and surrounding areas. Frequent travel is required, including overnight stays when supporting locations farther from your home office.

Eligible business mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy and approved lodging will be provided when overnight business travel is required.
