An established heavy civil construction company is expanding its operations into the Raleigh, North Carolina market and is seeking a senior construction leader to build and lead the regional business.
This is a broad, hands-on leadership opportunity with responsibility for developing the market, building the local team, securing and estimating work, executing projects, and managing the financial and operational performance of the region.
The Regional Construction Leader will be responsible for business development, estimating and preconstruction, project and field operations, staffing and resource planning, financial management, customer relationships, and continued regional growth.
Ideal candidates will bring senior-level heavy civil/infrastructure construction experience, including strong estimating and project execution capabilities. Relevant backgrounds may include site/civil construction, underground utilities, water/wastewater, concrete, process piping, industrial, municipal/public, or similar self-perform construction.
The successful candidate should have experience leading people and projects, managing financial performance, and operating with broad ownership. Experience building or growing a branch, division, business unit, or geographic market is highly valued.
This position is based in the Raleigh metropolitan area and will require regular interaction with customers, project teams, jobsites, and regional partners.
Compensation includes a base salary of approximately $170,000–$200,000, performance-based annual incentive opportunity, company vehicle and gas card, comprehensive benefits, and potential relocation/sign-on assistance based on candidate circumstances.
