    ASRC Federal is seeking qualified candidates for our Regional Credentials Manager - West North Central position. The Regional Credentials Manager provides Credentialing Management for the Air National Guard Centralized Credentialing and Privileging Program Management Services based at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. This is a remote/telework position within each region supported, some travel required.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Completes and processes healthcare-provider credentialing and recredentialing applications and privileging processes, and ensures providers are credentialed, appointed, and privileged with health plans, hospitals, and patient care facilities.
    • Enforces regulatory compliance and quality assurance at a healthcare facility, insurance group, or similar organization, ensuring that physicians and healthcare facilities or organizations are in compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Keeps all records and documentation of the applications and verifications maintained, monitors applications, and follows-up as needed.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • A minimum of 2 years of relevant medical/health systems experience, with preference for Military Health Systems environment working knowledge
    • A minimum of 1 year of experience in acquisition, maintenance and review of professional licensure, privileging or continuing education of military healthcare providers, or equivalent experience as a credentialed health care provider.
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a range of military personnel and audiences, including senior medical staff and management.
    • Knowledge and understanding of AFI 44-119, DoDI 6025.13, ANG C&P guidance, DHA PM 6025.13 and other pertinent DoD, AF, and MHS guidance, processes, and procedures.
    • JCCQAS familiarity
    • Microsoft Office skills required as well as ability to work within military/government proprietary databases and applications.

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's degree or HS grad with an additional 4 years of equivalent military training in Health Services Administration
