The mission
Ensure Oliver’s products reach customers across New Jersey and nearby Long Island, NY safely, on time, and with zero surprises.
How you’ll make an impact
- Run thorough pre‑ and post‑trip checks to keep equipment compliant and road‑ready
- Drive scheduled local routes and adjust for traffic to meet delivery windows
- Organize stops for priority, cost, and efficiency
- Handle bills of lading and related documents with care and accuracy
- Load, unload, and secure materials; reconcile counts with shipping records
- Keep meticulous logs of hours and mileage in line with DOT requirements
- Work with leasing/service providers to schedule maintenance and repairs
- Support shipping and warehouse workflows when not on the road
What you’ll need to succeed
- CDL Class B and age 21+ (per DOT)
- Commercial driving, delivery, or route experience preferred
- Strong grasp of DOT rules and defensive driving
- Confident using GPS and maps; efficient regional navigation
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and move materials during loading/unloading
Your time matters
- Work Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:00 PM
- No weekends; home every day
