Position Summary
The Regional Director, Supply Chain is responsible for managing the local execution of the of Orlando Health supply chain
responsibilities within an assigned organizational region.
Essential Functions
• Responsibility and administrative accountability for the regional execution of the Orlando Health supply chain.
• Directs operations for supply chain functions including, but not limited to, local inventory management, local supply warehousing
and distribution.
• Collaborates with corporate experts in purchasing, contracting, analytics, inventory management, and distribution.
• Prepares budget, goals, and business plan for areas of responsibility and measures progress.
• Identifies and resolves facility-based supply chain issues and improvement opportunities. Collaborates with Administration within the region.
• Responsible for leadership and management of supply chain functions.
• Creates opportunities for collaboration across facilities within the region and serves as a conduit between facilities, the region,
and corporate functions and teams.
• Develops tactical strategies to meet key performance measures including fill rate and contract compliance rates.
• Creates and implements regional and local supply chain standards and goals.
• Ensures local execution of corporate goals related to contract implementations across all service lines.
• Educates and enforces compliance with procurement, contracting, and corporate standardization policies.
• Monitors trends and changes in supply chain within the health industry and other industries.
• Identifies opportunities for system-wide collaboration and cost-savings.
• Builds and manages relationships with regional leadership to ensure supply chain is a strategic partner within the region and
supply chain strategies are in sync with financial, functional, and clinical strategies. Servies as primary executive liaison between
Supply Chain and Regional Leadership.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Education/Training
Bachelor’s degree in business management, Healthcare, or related field
Licensure/Certifications
None.
Experience
Five (5) years’ experience in Supply Chain, to include at least three (3) years in progressively responsible management or supervisory roles in a medium-to-large Integrated Delivery Network.
