    Position Summary: The Regional Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to advance the organization's mission and ensure long-term sustainability. This role allocates approximately 60% of time to fundraising and resource development and 40% of time to program management, volunteer engagement, and staff supervision. The Regional Director serves as the primary ambassador for the organization, cultivating relationships with donors, community partners, volunteers, and stakeholders while ensuring effective program delivery and organizational excellence

    Roles & Responsibilities
    Strategy, Vision, and Leadership Responsibilities
    • Advise the VP of Programs – Senior Services on challenges / issues particularly on the finance, human resources, information technology, risk management, and facilities.
    Department Level Responsibilities
     
    Fundraising and Resource Development (60%)
    • Develop and execute an annual fundraising strategy to achieve revenue goals.
    • Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, and community partners.
    • Identify and pursue grant opportunities, including proposal development and reporting.
    Program Management and Volunteer Engagement (40%)
    • Program Management
      • Supervision of assigned staff
      • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of organizational programs and services.
      • Ensure programs align with the organization's mission, strategic goals, and community needs.
      • Monitor program outcomes and implement continuous improvement strategies.
    • Volunteer Engagement
      • Foster a culture of volunteerism that encourages community involvement and engagement.
      • Develop volunteer leadership opportunities and ensure meaningful volunteer experiences.
    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, public administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
    • Minimum of 5 years of nonprofit leadership, fundraising, or management experience.
    • Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor cultivation, grant writing, and revenue generation.
    • Experience managing programs, volunteers, and staff.
    • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
    Required Skills / Abilities:
    • Must have the ability to travel as needed.
    • Valid Ohio Driver’s license and state minimum car insurance coverage.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
    • Pass a BCI/FBI criminal background check and drug screening.
    Work Environment:
    • Typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues.
    • In the community, as needed for essential responsibilities
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Ability to lift 15 lbs.

    Salary Range: $70,000 - $72,500, depending on qualifications
